A parade, the first for the neighborhood, kicks off at 9 a.m. at the corner of East 131 St. and Harvard Ave. A festival, with free food, refreshments, entertainment, prizes & raffles, runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Gawron Park, E. 136 St. and Harvard Ave.
