Councilwoman Jasmin Santana recently held a State of the Ward address, discussing major developments and investments throughout her ward starting with the nearly $1 billion MetroHealth Medical Center construction to park improvements to new businesses moving in as old buildings, such as the former Astrup Awning Company building on West 25th Street, are being renovated.
But Councilwoman Santana also discussed issues, such as the uptick in crimes, and the struggles so many are seeing from the COVID-19 pandemic. Guest spots will include neighborhood residents who’ve helped the community over the past year with programs and services.
