The City of Cleveland was ALL IN on June 22, 2016 with a parade and rally to congratulate the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2016 National Basketball Association (NBA) Championship.
An estimated 1.3 million fans packed the city in celebration of the Cleveland Cavaliers defeating the Golden State Warriors 93-89 in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. The Cavs are the first team in the history of the NBA to come back and win it all after being down 3-1 in the Finals series. This team also made history by ending Cleveland's 52-year drought without a major sports championship.
