Cleveland City Council's joint Aviation & Transportation, Public Safety and Finance Committee will continue to discuss hiring contracts for Cleveland Hopkins International Airport security and law enforcement services at a hearing on Monday, October 1st at 1 pm.
"There are unanswered questions that still remain after the hearing Council held on this topic last week," said Councilman Kevin J. Kelley, Chair of the Aviation Committee. "While Council supports increasing the number of uniformed officers on the street, we also want to see that safety at the Airport is not compromised. We are committed to doing our due diligence and making a fully informed decision."
