Council President Martin J. Sweeney, Ward 20
Councilman Kevin J. Kelley, Ward 16
And Tremont residents

WHAT: Council Members will join a group of angry Tremont residents gathering at the W. 14th Street on-ramp to I-90, which has not been slated to reopen.  The group is demanding action from Governor Strickland and as well as accountability for squandered taxpayer dollars.

WHEN: Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 10 am

WHERE: At the W. 14th Street on-ramp to I-90 (corner of W. 14th Street and Fairfield Avenue)

WHY: “The W. 14th Street ramp is a key gateway into the Tremont community and the main route for visitors,” said Councilman Cimperman.  “The prolonged closure of the ramp is seriously threatening the vitality of one of Cleveland’s great thriving neighborhoods.”
