Open Poetry Reading and Plaque Presentation to be held in honor of Poet Daniel Thompson
 
 
WHO: Councilman Joe Cimperman
Poets of Cleveland
   
WHAT: An open poetry reading will accompany the presentation of a plaque honoring the late poet Daniel Thompson.  A soiree will be held following the presentation.  The events are free and open to the public, donations of non-perishable food items are suggested.
   
WHEN: Saturday, May 3rd, 2:00pm
 
WHERE: Old Stone Church Center, 91 Public Square (entrance on Ontario)
   
WHY: “It is important to pay tribute to the movers and shakers of our City such as Daniel Thompson who was a long time activist and poet in Cleveland,” said Councilman Cimperman. “We hope that you will come to the event to celebrate the life and poetry of this great Clevelander with the Ward 13 community.”
