Councilman Michael D. Polensek, Ward 11, will introduce a resolution urging Cleveland stores to discontinue the sale of the Cocaine (TM) energy drink at the Council Meeting on Monday, March 05, 2007 at 7pm.
Cocaine TM energy drink, canned and copyrighted by Redux Beverages, LLC, is advertised as “the legal alternative” and is sold in many Cleveland community stores.
“The name of this drink glamorizes drug use,” said Councilman Polensek. “Its presence in local stores sends the wrong message to our children.”
The resolution encourages Cleveland community stores to discontinue the sale of Cocaine TM energy drink in order to preserve the integrity and quality of life of the community.
