Legal Aid Society Legal Clinic to be held in Ward 10

Ward 10 Councilman Roosevelt Coats is pleased to announce a free legal clinic hosted by the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland for low-income individuals and their families.   The clinic will be held at the Five Points Community Center (formerly the Collinwood Community Center), located at 813 East 152nd Street, on Saturday June 23, 2007.   Doors will open at 9:45am and the clinic will close at noon.

"This is a great opportunity for low-income individuals and families to obtain legal advice that they would not be able to afford otherwise," said Councilman Coats.   "Programs like these are very beneficial to the community and residents should take full advantage of this opportunity provided by the Legal Aid Society."

The clinics will feature volunteer attorneys from Calfee Halter & Griswold, a partner of Legal Aid's Volunteer Lawyer Program, who will be providing free legal advice and possible referrals concerning civil legal issues for low-income individuals and their families.

The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland has provided high quality legal assistance to low-income individuals and families since 1905.   For any further information concerning this clinic or other services provided by the Legal Aid Society, please contact the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland either by phone at (216) 687-1900 or on the internet at www.lasclev.org
