Councilman Zack Reed and his colleagues would like to remind everyone that metered parking is free in downtown Cleveland on the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday. 

People are encouraged to come into downtown Cleveland to do some shopping, take a stroll or grab a bite, all while take advantage of the free metered parking.  Come back on Saturday for Winterfest and the Public Square holiday lighting ceremony.

Metered parking is always free in Cleveland on Thanksgiving and will be free downtown the day after Christmas as well, due to the same legislation that set up free metered parking on Black Friday.
