Second public meeting to discuss chickens and bees within City limits

WHAT: A public meeting to discuss permitting Clevelanders to keep small poultry and bees on residential property (Ord. 1562-08).  Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions and share opinions.
   
WHEN: Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 6 pm

WHY: “Initiatives such as urban gardening increase sustainable living in the City and spur community and economic development,” said Councilman Cimperman.  “The keeping of small poultry and bees in the City provides residents with another way to access fresh food and moves Cleveland even closer to a fully sustainable economy.”
