| WHAT: |
The Burning River Fest is a one day family-friendly festival that features:
o environmental education programs and demonstrations,
o local artisans and musicians,
o a variety of locally produced delicacies from Cleveland 's favorite restaurants; and
o interesting and diverse views of Cleveland's lakefront and skyline.

Wendy Park at Whiskey Island (located off the Edgewater Park exit in Cleveland).
While parking on Whiskey Island will be prohibited, free "Precious Cargo" shuttle buses will run to/from the clearly marked Edgewater Park grass lot, where parking is free, directly to/from the front gate of Burning River Fest on Whiskey Island from 12:30 PM until approximately 10:00 PM.

"The goal of the Burning River Fest and the Burning River Foundation is to raise awareness of environmental issues that affect our region and the Cuyahoga River ecosystem," said Councilman Matt Zone. "The festival educates families and the community on how to protect and conserve the environment in a fun way through music, art, food and educational programs." |
