Safety Committee discusses Parental Accountability
 
 
WHO: Cleveland City Council’s Public Safety Committee
   
WHAT: A hearing to discuss juvenile crime and the creation of a parental responsibility policy.  Cleveland Municipal Court Judges Larry A. Jones and Ronald B. Adrine or their representatives; Maple Heights Mayor Michael Ciaravino; representatives from the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court Division; and Cleveland Director of Community Relations Blaine Griffin will testify.
   
WHEN: Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 10 am.
 
WHERE: Cleveland City Council’s Committee Room
   
WHY: Council has been moving forward with a Safety and Quality of Life Initiative that will comprehensively enhance day-to-day life in our neighborhoods.  Under this Initiative, the Public Safety Committee will be exploring Parental Accountability, through a series of hearing where the Committee will hear from experts and the public.  Over the summer, the public will be invited to attend several community meetings to discuss not only Parental Accountability, but also quality of life generally.
