| WHAT: |
Cleveland City Council’s Finance Committee passed legislation on Monday, April 13, 2009, to prohibit text messaging on wireless handsets while driving. The legislation, which was introduced by Councilman Zack Reed, Ward 3, and co-sponsored by Safety Committee Chair Kevin Conwell, Ward 9 and Councilwoman Mamie Mitchell,Ward 6, will now move to the floor of City Council at this evening’s general meeting |
