Joe Titran, resident of Ward 19, is Cleveland City Council’s Research and Policy Analyst and Webmaster. His duties include reviewing, analyzing and monitoring the budget of the City of Cleveland as well as funding and monitoring various municipal proposals and projects. As a policy analyst, Joe staffs the Finance; Legislation; Public Parks, Recreation & Properties; Employment, Affirmative Action & Training; and Public Service committees. He is also G.I.S. certified and creates and maintains databases which he then implements into GIS projects. As webmaster, Joe is responsible for all posts to the Cleveland City Council website.
Joe graduated from Cleveland State University’s Maxine Goodman-Levin College of Urban Affairs with a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Studies and a Masters Degree in Public Administration.
Before joining the Cleveland City Council staff, Joe worked as a Sales Manager for Midwest Publishing Inc. and as part of the Faculty Computer Support team at the Maxine Goodman-Levin & Northern Ohio Data Information Service. He then served as a policy intern for Cleveland City Council and joined the staff full time as a research assistant in 2000. In 2004 he was promoted to his current position of Policy Analyst. Joe took on his responsibilities as Webmaster when Cleveland City Council launched its current website in March of 2007.
