Carrie Rentz, a resident of Cleveland’s Ward 20, has served as the Personnel and Human Resources Manager since 1995.
Her duties in this position include processing payrolls and distributing paychecks, new employees and all hospitalization, dental and vision forms for Council employees. Carrie is also responsible for scheduling orientation and training workshops.
A graduate of Bryant and Stratton Business Institute, Carrie has an extensive background in public service. Before beginning her work for the City of Cleveland, she was the operations coordinator for RCI Corporation. Carrie then served as the junior clerk for Cleveland’s Department of Public Safety and then as junior clerk for the Department of Port Control. Prior to joining the Cleveland City Council staff, Carrie was the Sr. Personnel Assistant for the City of Cleveland’s Department of Public Safety.
Carrie is very active in the Cleveland community and has been invited to be a candidate in the Heritage Registry Global Directory of Who’s Who, a directory designed to recognize the accomplishments of professional men and women who have achieved success in their respective fields.
