The Finance Committee is responsible for all financial matters of the city of Cleveland, including passing a balanced budget annually and approving all city expenditures and appropriations. In addition to weekly committee meetings, the committee conducts hearings on the general fund budget and other issues that have an impact on the financial health of the city of Cleveland. The Finance Committee oversees and approves all fiscal matters relating to city departments, primarily Finance, Law and Personnel.
